Korean Tea Fields.
Here are some of our favorite tea farms in Korea. Both these pics also show a traditional Korean family gravesite, which can be seen throughout the country side as magical grassy mounds. Our own family has a mountain side in a small village where many generations of my ancestors are buried this same way, they were mostly ginseng farmers.
Matcha frozen yogurt is pretty delicious.
Matcha is 100% natural, organic green tea leaves which have been carefully ground down to form a fine powder. It has been drunk in Japan as part of the tea ceremony for almost 900 years, and is used by Buddhist monks to keep them alert, awake and focused during long days of meditation.
Green tea is tea that is brewed just from tea leaves.
We use both in our products!
We are also now sourcing matcha so you can come up with all sorts of things to try it in! There is a plethora of foods, deserts, and drinks with it…and newer ideas are brewing (get it? ha) everyday. We have cleaning products.. What is next, cosmetics? ……
Found this photo online, it’s inaccurate now! There are tea gardens popping up all over America. For example, our tea friend The great Mississippi Tea Company. https://www.facebook.com/TheGreatMississippiTeaCompany
and of course our tea fields in Virginia.
and more thanks to the US League of Tea Growers keeping track on this.
When not thinking of ways to bring you wonderful green tea products, Joanna teaches archery. This photo is from a math and science camp at UCLA. Her favorite archery memories are shooting with 4-H camp in Virginia, (she got to shoot a lit arrow into a lake during a grandiose ceremony, just like the Olympics).
